Mr. Wong Wei Fan graduated from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia, he had obtained and completed both Certificate in Legal Practice and Diploma in International Arbitration in the same year. He then commenced his pupillage and read law in the Chambers of Dato’ Ng Mann Cheong at Messrs. Syed Alwi, Ng & Co where he was actively involved in litigation works especially Banking Litigation and Debt Recovery matters. Apart from that, he was also engaged in General Litigation matters such as probate, marriage and divorce, tenancy dispute, distress action, Housing Development Act matters and etc. Mr. Wong Wei Fan completed his pupillage and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 24/9/2012. Subsequent to that, Mr. Wong Wei Fan joined a boutique law firm which specializes in Industrial Law both in terms of advisory services and extensive representation of companies at the Industrial Court and beyond. This had led to his frequent involvement in trade disputes involving Unions and employers either on a stand-alone basis or on an industry basis. Apart from this, he is also actively involved in both advisory matters and several other fields of law involving litigation. This would include corporate and commercial law together with experiences to deal and apply through the procedures with both governmental and non-governmental organizations for legal compliance and licensing matters. His advisory services on corporate matters advance from both legal and business point of views. Mr. Wong Wei Fan is the founding partner of Messrs. Wong Wei Fan & Co established since year 2013. |

Corporate Advisory, Agreement and Litigation
Drafting of various Corporate Business Agreements such as Share Sales Agreement, Partnership Agreement, Shareholder Agreement, Sole Distributorship Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Sand Mining Agreement, Licensing Agreement, Exclusive Use Agreement, Option to Purchase, Corporate Indemnity, Deed of Trust and Power of Attorney.
Issued legal opinion to NEEQ, China in relation to the legal status of a proposed listing Company’s subsidiary company in Malaysia, being one of the requirements for listing in NEEQ, China. The company has then successfully listed in NEEQ, China.
Acting as solicitor for the minority shareholders in a Muar High Court suit concerning minority shareholders interest pursuant to Section 346 of the Company Act 2016.
Acting as Non-Executive Director for MIMS PTE for its two subsidiary companies in Malaysia.
Conveyancing and Loan Documentation
Advised and Represented the Vendor in the proposed disposal of a RM18.5 Million worth of factory together with the office block in Beranang, Malaysia. The milestone of work includes but not limited to conducting a legal and technical due diligence exercise on the target company, negotiating on the proposed transaction as a whole and drafting of a Sale and Purchase Agreement together with other related documents.
Successfully defended the Vendor an intended Specific Performance prayed by the Purchaser in Ipoh High Court.
Debts Recovery and Construction Disputes
- Commenced debt recovery action on behalf of a Malaysia’s sub-contractor against the main-contractor who is a Listed Company in Korea concerning a construction disputes, where both parties were involved in the construction of 6 Mega Watt Solar Energy Farm which was one of the Malaysia’s largest solar energy farm at that point in time. Mr. Wong Wei Fan had successfully brought the parties to an amicable settlement and had the main-contractor to finally pay the amount due and entitled to his client.
Beauty Line’s Regulations and Dispute
Mr. Wong Wei Fan is handling the profile of various famous brands in this industry for the compliance of beauty line’s regulations and guidelines.
Acted for the Defendant in a Kuala Lumpur High Court case which involved of a claim by the Plaintiff for inefficiency treatment, misrepresentation, negligence, loss and injuries from consuming of Defendant’s products and services. He had successfully persuaded the High Court judge to order the Plaintiff to withdraw her case with cost to the Defendant while the Plaintiff was unable to proceed during the trial and prayed for a postponement of the case.
Employment Disputes and Collateral Agreement
Successfully claimed back the advance commission paid by the Plaintiff to the Defendant and had the Kuala Lumpur High Court Judge to declare the validity on the recovery of advance commission clause which stated in the Employment Contract entered between the Plaintiff Employer and Defendant Employee.
Assisted in drafting of the Defence for Malayan Banking Berhad in the Industrial Court case filed by The National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE) on a claim over their wages.
Assisted in drafting of the Defence for Malayan Banking Berhad in the Industrial Court case filed by their employee for reviewing on the terms of collateral contract.
Defamation
Commenced a Legal Defamation Suit on behalf of a British Client against a Malaysia listed company and a world-wide business magazine.
Criminal Defence
Obtained DNAA for his client in a matter concerning S45 (a) Road Transport Act 1987.
Obtained favourable bargain in the form of social service order for his client in Plea Bargaining pursuant to Section 172C Criminal Procedure Code and Section 60(1)(a) and 62 of Act 716 and Section 34 of Penal Code.
Acted for a client in an appeal allowed by the Kuala Lumpur High Court where the honourable court has revised the jail term from one year to four months and the client to be released from prison immediately since the client has been detained for four months in the prison.

Ms. Fang was awarded with a scholarship to pursue the UK Degree in Law under a transfer Programme in INTI International University College in 2006. She was given the “Merit Award for UK Degree Transfer in Law Programme, Outstanding Scholastic Achievement” in the years of 2007 and 2008. She had then completed her LL.B (Hons) degree and graduated from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom with Second Upper Class in 2009 where she was supervised by Professor Graham Dutfield in her undergraduate dissertation and subsequently met the standard of First Class in her undergraduate dissertation. After graduation, Ms. Fang worked as a paralegal in a Singapore legal firm. She was given the opportunity and exposure to the conveyancing process in Singapore. She had then completed and passed her Certificate in Legal Practice on her first attempt in 2012. Under the guidance and supervision by a learned senior lawyer, Ms. Wendy Lam during her pupillage. She had the opportunity to expose to litigation practices, including debt recovery, employment disputes and trademark registration matters.
On 13 December 2013, Ms. Fang was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Since April 2014, she has been guided by a learned senior counsel, Mr. Joseph Yeo and had been practicing as a litigation legal associate.
She joined Messrs. Wong Wei Fan & Co. as partner in January 2021.

Ms. Lim QiuZhang had obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hull, United Kingdom in 2011. She then chambered with Messrs. Mak Loo & Co. and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya on 5th November, 2012.
Ms. Lim joined Messrs Lau, Wong & Partners (JB Branch) in 2013 and was mainly involved in handling all conveyancing related matters for residential, industrial and commercial properties . She was trained and exposed to drafting and reviewing various legal documents and agreements for the firm’s major clients i.e. S.K. Tiong Development Sdn Bhd, Nasa Land Sdn Bhd and Sime Darby Property Berhad.
Ms. Lim then joined Messrs Kur Sen Chong & Co for the period between 2015 and 2018. During that period, apart from handling conveyancing matters, she was also trained to handle non-contested cases such as divorce ( joint petition), probate and administration of deceased’s estate and recovery of possession.
After leaving Messrs Kur Sen Chong & Co, Ms. Lim decided to cease practice and joined Berjaya Times Square Management Corporation as Legal Manager. Ms. Lim was involved in reviewing and monitoring all litigation matters, Industrial Relation Tribunal matters and also Strata Management Tribunal matters. Apart from that, she was also in charged in vetting and drafting various legal letters, documents and agreements for the management corporation and to ensure all legal requirements in governing the management corporation are being complied with.
Ms. Lim had then resumed practice and joined Messrs Wong Wei Fan & Co. as a Conveyancing Partner in April 2021.

Mr. Justin Faun had obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hull, the United Kingdom in 2016.
Pursuant to that, he had then completed his pupillage with Messrs. Raslan Loong, Shen & Eow and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya on the 4th of January 2019.
Throughout his pupillage, he had been exposed to conveyancing matters comprising mainly of Sale and Purchase for both strata and landed Development Projects.
Prior to joining Messrs Wong Wei Fan & Co., he had also assisted Dr. Leong Jin Hoong in Intellectual Property matters in Messrs Ng, Arlene Tan & Leong concerning trademarks and patent law.

Mr. Lim Hui Wang had obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Multimedia University, Melaka in 2020. He had completed his pupillage with Messrs. Khoo Chin Nam & Co. and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya on the 19th of November 2021.
Throughout his pupillage, he had been exposed to Intellectual Property matters; Probate and Administration of Estates matters; and Family matters.
Prior in joining Messrs Wong Wei Fan & Co., he had been exposed to conveyancing matters under Messrs Elyne Choo & Koong and Messrs Joseph Ting & Co. comprising mainly of Sale and Purchase and loan documentation for both strata and landed Development Projects.
